Our guests loved their succulent bomboniere! The only thing I would suggest to make the experience stellar is to include in the shipment box some guidelines for their general care upon receipt, so as to prolong their life. More particularly, upon receiving them I was unsure of how take care of them to ensure that they would be at their best for our guests. I don't know if this information is common knowledge to others, but I don't have a green thumb and was unsure of what to do, so I messaged The Succulent Source a couple of days after receiving them and they were quick to respond that the succulents needed "a huge soak of water on the day they were received as we ship them dry. A huge soak. Then they need to drain for 1-2 days to drain all excess water before you repot them." Even though I watered the succulents upon receipt, I wouldn't describe the watering as a "huge soak," (then again, I didn't know what a "huge soak" looked like, so providing a video link in the general care instructions would have been very helpful for me)--so having this information on the day that I received the shipment would have been allowed me to properly care for the succulents to ensure that they were at their best for our guests. :) Aside from that, our guests loved their succulent bomboniere!
These were the perfect touch to our table decorations and made a nice take home favor.
I ordered twenty-four succulents for my friend's baby shower, and all twenty-four arrived in excellent condition. (They even delayed sending them so that they would arrive closer to the shower date!) They were a definite hit with the party-goers - look how cute they are in the pics, and I'll be using the left-overs as teacher appreciation gifts! I would definitely order from The Succulent Source again.
